The Campus administration observed that a certain group of people was intentionally involved and trying to create distance between the military leadership and the University by spreading false, fabricated and misleading statements among public. It stated in a press statement on Saturday cited that Karachi University Employees Welfare Association had claimed that on its request, Chief of the Army Staff had issued a letter or show-cause notice to the University of Karachi. It clarified that military leadership has never ever issued such letter or notice to the University of Karachi and both the KU administration and the military leadership are on same page.
